Being a sustainable business really matters to us

We recognise that to be a sustainable business means not just doing the right thing, but reporting openly and honestly to demonstrate compliance and benchmark our ESG performance against others.

As a 100% employee-owned global practice, we have the freedom and independence to focus on being the kind of business we want to be – and being an ethical, responsible and sustainable business really matters to us. This drives how we conduct ourselves in everything we do.

Governance is a standing item at board meetings and firmly anchored in our corporate culture. A robust communications programme ensures all our employees are aware of their responsibilities to uphold the highest standards of governance and business ethics. We make sure our suppliers are aware of our policies and require them to adhere to the same high standards.

Our projects and programmes reflect how we align our values, behaviours and business practices with the expectations and needs of our employees, customers, supply chains, local communities, stakeholders, and society as a whole.

Our EcoVadis rating and our support of the UN Global Compact are evidence of our commitment to reporting against ESG metrics and aligning our activities with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

We operate in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements, but we go beyond legal minimums. We continually seek ways to extend and improve our processes and transparency to improve our sustainability success.

As with many other businesses, a significant risk we face today is cyber attacks. In the last 12 months we have had three cases of intentional attacks on our systems. We are happy to report that the corrective actions we have put in place are proving successful in preventing further incidents.
