Decarbonising the public sector is imperative to achieve the UK’s climate change targets. Transitioning to renewable energy supply, enhancing efficiency of public facilities and adopting low-carbon technologies, are all routes towards greater sustainability. The Low Carbon Skills Fund (LCSF ) and Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) are two Government schemes designed to help public sector organisations bridge the affordability and capability gap.
