RLB is a place where people make progress
At Rider Levett Bucknall, we are in the business of making progress happen for our clients, communities and colleagues.
We make progress because we are inspired by our values: Truth, Trust, Together, Tomorrow. These are not just words to us; they are the values we chose to live by. They inform our decision-making every single day, guiding us to deliver excellence, drive positive change and always do the right thing.
At the heart of our values lies a strong commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I). In 2025, we launched our new DE&I strategy to ensure we have equity, not just equality, in everything we do.
Our aim is to foster a workplace that is not only fair and inclusive, but also truly representative of the diverse talent that drives RLB forward. We believe that building such an environment is a moral imperative and essential to our ongoing success.
In this report, we outline the progress we have made up to the year ending 5 April 2025. It shows that 21% of our colleagues are from an ethnic minority background.
We recognise we can and must do better. We acknowledge that there is room for improvement and our ongoing efforts include investing in both the personal and professional growth of all employees and working towards making RLB a fair and inclusive workplace. We will continue to participate in industry-wide programmes that support underrepresented groups in pursuing careers in the construction sector. Additionally, we plan to enhance how we collect and review data related to ethnicity pay.
We, the undersigned, confirm that the data contained in this document is, to the best of our knowledge and ability, accurate.
