Investing in our people is key to our future success
We know that our successes rely on the commitment and engagement of the entire RLB family. This is why we are working to create an environment where everyone can be themselves, feel valued for their contribution, and empowered and supported on their career journey.
We believe that:
- We should build a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment where everyone is equipped with the skills they need to excel, encouraged to reach their full potential, and feels able to bring their whole professional self to work.
- We have a responsibility to support the communities in which we live and work by attracting and retaining a workforce that is representative of these communities.
- Our talent strategy should enable us to overcome bias in the construction and property management industry by recruiting, retaining, developing and promoting a diverse and inclusive workforce.
With teams made up of colleagues from different cultures and backgrounds, bringing new insights and perspectives, we will look at problems in different ways. We will be able to develop more effective, more innovative solutions for our clients, and deliver better outcomes for local communities.
We also recognise that when people feel happy, engaged and purposeful at work they typically perform better, contributing to a more positive and sustainable business. We have many initiatives, benefits and processes in place to promote employee wellbeing because we want our people to thrive personally as well as professionally.
We will continue to learn and benchmark our progress against others, adapting our initiatives and making improvements as required to ensure that we are making progress towards building a truly inclusive culture and a business fit for the future.
