RLB ESG Report 2024
Governance

Vivianne Todhunter
Business Improvement and Compliance Partner, Chair Global ESG Committee
Good governance underpins everything we do
As a 100% employee-owned practice, we have the freedom and independence to focus on being the kind of business we want to be – and being an ethical, responsible and sustainable business is important to us.
We believe that operating with integrity, transparency and accountability, and in compliance with laws and regulations, is fundamental to stakeholder trust and our continued success. We have zero tolerance for corruption, breaches of the law and unethical practices.
Governance is firmly anchored in our corporate culture and a standing item at meetings of our Executive Board. Mark Weaver, ESG Legal and Risk Director for UK and Europe, is responsible for all legal and operational aspects of governance.
Reporting to him is the RLB compliance team which oversees our management systems and policies for quality, sustainability, and health and safety in line with the requirements of international standards. Internal auditors are embedded across the business and work closely with our employees at all levels to minimise risk and liability, identify corrective and preventative action, share best practice and drive continual improvement.
Benchmarking our performance using the EcoVadis rating methodology and our support of the UN Global Compact are evidence of our commitment to reporting against ESG metrics and aligning our activities with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
In 2024 we updated our supplier code of conduct and supplier pre-qualification questionnaire to ensure all organisations in our supply chain are aware of our policies and standards and their responsibilities to uphold them.
