Community groups at RLB
As an independent, 100% employee-owned business, we value the voice of our people. From graduate to director, we want everyone to influence and shape our policies. This is why we have established community groups made up of colleagues from across the business, and each one is allocated a budget to support its activities throughout the year. By representing all our employees and giving them a voice, our communities guide our evolution and ensure that we look at everything we do as a business through an equitable and inclusive lens.
Our communities help us develop new polices, roll out initiatives, and monitor key areas of our performance. They raise awareness of diversity, equity and inclusion issues by fostering two-way communication and participating in campaigns such as International Women’s Day, Autism Acceptance Week and Black History Month.
Their members provide informal advice to colleagues, and groups also work closely with each other to provide support for employees facing intersectionality challenges due to overlapping forms of discrimination or privilege based on multiple aspects of their identity, such as race, gender, class and disability.
